Day 1 of getting back into my daily tasks commitment with less procrastination. Back to work first this morning, after the last week off. I MUST do these tasks when I get home from work, before sitting on the PC!

I’ve been really bad over the last couple weeks with my daily routine. I have no been ticking off my important tasks that I had set myself to commit for health and mind. Time for change!!! 🗯️

Done lots of editing in #Obsidian again. I’m now able to look back at previous weeks, months, years and see how many short thoughts I posted, photos I sent over to Pixelfed, as well as observations of fungi and nature I made and posted on iNaturalist and draft up a recap.

I’m playing around again today with #Obsidian. Wanting to automate some of my tasks and charts to show me how successful I have been any given week at completing my tasks and staying committed.

Day 1 of my week off work was great after yesterdays traumatic incident I had to respond to. Went for a beautiful #hike along the #LerderdergGorge with the wife and kids. The water in the river was flowing again too!

I’ve created a bunch of dashboards in #Obsidian using #DataView Tables to help with cataloguing photography and audio recordings for personal research? I don’t know what the end goal is, but I’m having fun tinkering.

I have a new goal with my photography and sound recording. And that is to capture as much as I can through all seasons in my local areas and catalogue everything. I’d like to use inaturalist.org to try and identify everything and learn!

Had a great time at the #HealesvilleSanctuary Zoo yesterday. Managed to sneak in some fungi photography while there too! Will share soon!

I have had a couple of lazy weeks in terms of updating my journal. It looks like a few others I know that journal a lot have also been more quiet recently. Must be the rhythmic cycle of the universe currently. I have just gotten off night shifts, and a load of photos to edit to release out!

I’ve been using the new #XPPen #Artist16 #Tablet and I am loving it for editing my #photography so far. Works out of the box on #Linux too!

Had another beautiful day at the zoo today with the wife and kids. You can expect more photos soon. I am just waiting on my new #XPPen to arrive tomorrow so I can play around editing in #DarkTable with my new tool!

I can’t believe that it’s been another week gone. Around the corner to Christmas already.

My week off is coming to an end. I’ve been busy editing RAW photo’s over the last couple days as you might have seen. Tomorrow is my last day off, and then it’s back into the regular routine of work.

I installed the KDE Plasma desktop on my #POPOS installation that uses GNOME by default. Don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner, it’s so much more powerful and customizable!

Got my monitor calibrated. Photo’s look more accurate on other devices that they did before! Geez, I feel so silly for not doing this a lot sooner!

Lesson… Here I am taking photographs and editing in #DarkTable. But have I calibrated my monitor? Nope… Got a new calibrator on the way. And thinking of getting a pen display as well for the editing!

Yay, #DavinciResolve works flawlessly and version 20 has some neat new AI features to play around with.

Busy morning. Although unproductive in terms of getting my daily routine done. But other that that, I spent a lot of time on #SLColonies and within #SecondLife working on our new Questing System and creating some quest lines for our customers.
