  • So with these new law changes coming eventually to social media, including the need to verify ourselves with ID to prove our age - how does that look for and other social media? In particular the larger instances that have responsibility to its user base under their own countries laws?

    I don’t think this would affect small private servers in any way, but I’m interested to know more…

    Project completed. Ethernet cable routed through my double story house, with switches, to our NBN fiber modem connection. Now enjoying 1000Mbps speeds direct to the PC, instead of what I was getting, 300 via WiFi mesh.

  • Plan on going on a hike in the Brisbane Ranges tomorrow with my wife. A nice 12.2km trail with a 314m elevation gain up the mountain. Should be fun! Can’t wait!

    A New Printer: Will this mean I start making my own prints?
    So just the other day, my step-father purchased a new photo printer as he’s an avid professional photographer and makes a lot of photo prints for his clients and for the family.
    I was lucky enough to be gifted with his old printer, which is a tried and tested Epson Photo Stylus R3000.

    My new printing station. I got gifted an Epson Stylus Photo R3000, so happy!

    Got some old monitors and a laptop HUB and will use this space purely for printing purposes. The laptop is running Windows to cover me for windows native apps I still use for certain tasks.

    I can do up to A3 prints and in rolls too for panoramic.
