It’s mine and my wife’s 13th year wedding anniversary and we both forgot about it, until cousins messaged us congratulating us, therefore reminding us. 🤦

Got the #ZoomF6. Now just need the mics and I will be ready to dive into #FieldRecording while out in nature. Going to have a lot of fun with this when doing #birding at the same time. Would be nice to not only take photos of birds, but capture some in slow-mo video and such :D

I think that’s it for fungi photography this season. I’ll be focusing on #birding and developing that skill over #spring. I have a #ZoomF6 coming and a pair of stereo mics. I intend to try out field recording with the bird walks!

Mum just had a fall 🤕 Getting #XRay now. Thinking possible broken arm. As we get older, we look after our young kids, and also our ageing parents.

Feeling great this morning. Had a great time yesterday on my day off. Managed to take 3 nice photos which were composed of around 250 photos total. I am stacking and editing them now. But I also have a photo walk video to go along with these shots :) Should make for a nice nature walk video.

I have the day to myself today, and it’s a beautiful day. Will go out and see if I can still spot some fungi to #photograph. If not, I’ll look for bugs and birds!

Pretty tired this morning. Might need to take a nap after taking the kids to school. I have the day off tomorrow, as do the kids. Trying to plan for things to do on a rainy day.

Back to work yesterday, after 10 days off. That means less time to go hikes and walks for all the photos, though I do have a lot in the backlog to edit! And I do have my new diffuser and flash setup for insect macro that I plan to try out!

Went to #CapeSchank and the #PeninsulaHotSprings with the family yesterday and had a wonderful time. Hope to do it again in the future. Took some beautiful photos too!

I had fun today playing around with my new #Sigma 150-600mm lens and #birds. Something new that I will play around with during spring when all the fungi starts to vanish. I’ll also get into more #macro of bugs and other insects :P

All tasks ticked off for the day. Accomplished everything that I had set myself to do. Pat on the back to #self.

Numb face. 2 injections. 1 either side of my top jaw and half my nose is also numb. The joys of visiting the #dentist for some touch ups!

Pixelfed.social is telling me I have reached some kind of account limit, and I can no longer share photos of my work with the community. I am going back to #KNTHost and hosting my own #Pixelfed instance and making the move back.

Went to #MelbourneZoo. Spur of the moment thing. More practice with the camera, and the new lens at the #Butterfly house. Interested to see how these all come out post-edit!

Took the kids out to #Artvo for some cool #3DArt photos where the kids can be part of the scene. Then we went #IceSkating. So fun! Some ice-cream, frozen yogurt to finish the outing. And now they will watch #KPopDemonHunters.
