  • Today we took the kids to and had a blast in the snow! Was a very long day, 4 hours each way of travel and got to spend 3 odd hours out in the snow. 11 to 12 hour day :D

  • Since I am not into smart watches and apps on my phone tracking me all day. I just got my new GPSMap 67i device that I can turn on when needed for hiking out bush. I can create hiking tracks via GPX files. Might have to get into too!

  • I’ve managed to do all my tasks again today, which is good. I’ve also set into motion some actions for career progression. Still have a lot of thinking to do before making a final decision, but that day is fast approaching.

  • Done lots of editing in again. I’m now able to look back at previous weeks, months, years and see how many short thoughts I posted, photos I sent over to Pixelfed, as well as observations of fungi and nature I made and posted on iNaturalist and draft up a recap.

  • I have a new goal with my photography and sound recording. And that is to capture as much as I can through all seasons in my local areas and catalogue everything. I’d like to use inaturalist.org to try and identify everything and learn!

  • I have had a couple of lazy weeks in terms of updating my journal. It looks like a few others I know that journal a lot have also been more quiet recently. Must be the rhythmic cycle of the universe currently. I have just gotten off night shifts, and a load of photos to edit to release out!
