Just spent a few hours in #DayOne going through all my entries that I auto-populated by importing my blog from #Microblog into it - just had to remove all the extra coding blocks and caption blocks that wouldn’t look so well when I go to print my first yearly book of entries.

Oh how I love @Microblog. Here I was wasting hours in trying to convert .md files to import into Day One, only to realise the micro.blog Mac app has an export into Day One feature built in… more hidden features… I so needed this one too!

So I managed to convert my #AppleJournal entries and import them as JSON into #DayOne so that I don’t have to start on a blank slate. Now I can make use of #MicroBlog automatically pushing my public entries to my DayOne journal 📓

Another cool feature that goes unnoticed on a MacBook. When I want to tether my mobile phone for internet usage – I don’t have to first turn on the hotspot on the mobile phone – just click tether on the Mac, and the ecosystem does it for you. Small, but gold and convenient.
