@manton and micro.blog could potentially be a next-generation of RSS reader, like my fedi feed I get through my micro.blog app :P For news I use @kagihq - keeps it simple, no ads. RSS feed that I can add to, curate, cull as my interests shift like following on micro.blog - perfect.
