@Mtt I went the extreme route for over a year with a Google Pixel and GrapheneOS with not even a page of apps. But, you lose a heap of convenience that over time you find you need. Like Tap & Pay, Emails. Considering a phone costs so much these days and is a powerful computer in its own rights, use it for that ;) Just keep social media and apps that might be tracking across other apps etc off your device to prevent data mining from those pesky brokers. Give them only what you are willing to give. Even games.
If you keep those other apps on an iPad that even if it has “location tracking” doesn’t matter, as it stays at home - it has the added benefit of also you not constantly checking your phone while out and about, and instead enjoying what’s around us :)
