  • Wow, I did not realise that #tracking was that complex. Data brokers know your every move! Be careful how many apps, and what apps, you allow on your phone.

    I am glad I made the move to #GrapheneOS, which started my progress of removing as many apps as possible from my phone. Dumb it down! THen work on the PC!

  • To my fellow #privacy focused individuals. I’ve been using a #Fitbit for some time, and as you are aware, #Google purchased the brand a while ago now, and I have been #De-Googling my life.

    What solutions have you found for #fitnesstracking? I’d be interested to know about any #OpenSource tracking options that work well with GPS and hiking apps such as #Alltrails, or other alternatives.

    I’m new to this area of privacy! Beyond just taking the tracker off completely and going without.

    Interesting article. And here in Australia is is not just about porn sites, but all social media access requiring "age verification". The age of online government issued ID is fast approaching, and speaking anonymously online without fear of losing your employment, is soon coming to an end. read more

    Interesting. Though when it comes to WiFi and Bluetooth, make sure that you also turn off WiFi and Bluetooth scanning, as those run in the background even with WiFi and Bluetooth off and allow your devices to be found.
