  • I learned recently that #SecondLife is taking on the #Lua or in their case the #SLua language. Now is the best opportunity for me to dig in and teach myself coding and in particular, in this language so that I can help improve on #SLColonies, my pet project.

  • Weekly Recap - Week 51

This week is mostly about my passion project known as SL Colonies, which is a full RPG world building kit within Second Life. We have a small, but active community within this project that enjoy using our system to create RPG worlds with farming, gathering, hunting, crafting, quest making and more. Enjoy the read! I know it’s been a while! Discourse Updates I run a community within Second Life that is known as SL Colonies. read more

  • I’ve been fiddling around with our #Discourse forum most of the day. I am trying to move my community away from #Discord. My community is not active in live chat, and guiding them into the forums as our community HUB seems the smarter idea.

  • brought the laptop to work because we have our Christmas party on in a few hours after work, and not worth driving back and forth in traffic. Seems trying to procrastinate from a work location isn’t as easy as I thought. Also forgot any games I had were installed on my external SSD 🕹️

Interesting. Never heard about limitless before now. Wearables that listen to you all day? Not sure I would trust meta with that data personally. But something local and on device?

  • Just spent a few hours in #DayOne going through all my entries that I auto-populated by importing my blog from #Microblog into it - just had to remove all the extra coding blocks and caption blocks that wouldn’t look so well when I go to print my first yearly book of entries.

  • Back in March I made a comment about Elon Musks wealth and how, if it were the date 1 CE, and you were to spend money every day for 2,025 years, you could spend (then) $400,000 a day. Today, you could now spend $676,000 per day and not run out of cash.
